Casino Del Sol Honors Veterans with Annual Memorial Wall Dedication Ceremony Pascua Yaqui Tribe-Owned Casino Invites Community to Share Messages of Gratitude and Remembrance

TUCSON, AZ / AGILITYPR.NEWS / November 12, 2025 / Monday morning November 10th, Casino Del Sol hosted a solemn dedication ceremony of its Veterans Memorial Wall. This heartfelt tribute will remain on display through November 16 in the Conference Center Foyer.

The morning ceremony featured a moving blessing by Tribal Council member Francisco Munoz and a presentation of colors by the Pascua Yaqui Color Guard, setting a tone of reverence and gratitude for the gathering of veterans, family members, and supporters.

Amanda Lomayesva, Casino Del Sol’s Interim CEO emphasized the deep connection between the Pascua Yaqui community and military service. "There is a large number of Pascua Yaqui veterans who have served our country with honor," Lomayesva shared. "Through this memorial wall, we want to thank and honor them, along with all veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms."

The Veterans Memorial Wall serves as more than a tribute—it's a gathering place for connection and healing. Throughout the week, visitors are invited to write personal notes of thanks, share cherished memories, and honor the fallen heroes who hold special places in their hearts. The wall also provides a meaningful space for veterans, their families, and friends to meet, reconnect, and find community.

This tradition of more than 10 years reflects Casino Del Sol's ongoing commitment to honoring military service and strengthening community bonds. The Pascua Yaqui Tribe has a proud history of military service, and this dedication ceremony represents one of many ways the Tribe gives back to those who have served.

The Veterans Memorial Wall will be accessible to the public through November 16 at Casino Del Sol's Conference Center Foyer, located at 5655 W. Valencia Rd., Tucson, AZ 85757.
