Sandoval Creative (Sandoval) is proud to celebrate the El Rio Vecinos Black Tie Block Party on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Arizona Sands Club at the Casino Del Sol Stadium. Sandoval has supported the annual fundraiser for 10 years.

This year’s party “Neon Dreams - Shine Loud,” promises the neighborhood block-party spirit Tucsonans love. Guests can expect neon-accented attire, local culinary tastings, cocktails, and live music. This year’s benefit is El Rio’s Cancer Screening & Treatment Fund, which supports access to early cancer detection and treatment for community members who are uninsured or have limited resources.

Founded in 2012 by Dan Chambers, El Rio Vecinos is the Foundation’s young professionals group that is united by a shared commitment to community health. Named after the Spanish word for “neighbors,” the group reflects the spirit in which El Rio Health was founded in 1970, to build a community-based health resource for everyone. Since its inaugural event in 2014, the Vecinos have raised more than $1 million to help expand access to care for El Rio Health’s programs.

In addition to Sandoval’s sponsorship support, the company’s SVP of Client & Creative Services, Shayla Sandoval has been part of the El Rio Vecinos since 2019 and has served as Block Party Chair and Past President.

For Southern Arizona residents who lack health insurance or the financial means to seek early cancer detection, access to care can be the difference between life and death. Sandoval President Roman Sandoval added, “Supporting this block party is another way we can help make sure our neighbors, regardless of their circumstances, can get the essential cancer screening and treatment they need.”
