TUCSON, AZ – July 27, 2026 – Casino Del Sol is pleased to announce that Los Huracanes del Norte, one of regional Mexican music's most enduring and influential norteño groups, will bring their multigenerational family sound to AVA Amphitheater at Casino Del Sol on Saturday, October 10, 2026, with special guest El Jerry, Gerardo Coronel. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, July 31.

Formed in 1969 by brothers Heraclio, Jesús, and Francisco García, and later joined by brother José Guadalupe, Los Huracanes del Norte helped define the sound of traditional norteño music over a career spanning more than five decades. Raised in Tangancícuaro, Michoacán, before relocating to California as teenagers, the García family built a catalog of more than 60 albums and recorded hundreds of songs, earning three Grammy nominations along the way. In September 2022, the group was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in recognition of its lasting influence on the genre. Today, the band continues to tour with a lineup that includes founding members alongside a new generation of García family musicians, carrying the group's legacy forward for longtime fans and new audiences alike.

Joining Los Huracanes del Norte is Gerardo Coronel, known to fans as "El Jerry," a singer-songwriter from Apatzingán, Michoacán, who has become one of regional Mexican music's most prolific hitmakers. Coronel began writing his own material as a child and released his breakout debut album in 2014, launching a career that has since produced numerous charting singles and collaborations with some of the genre's leading acts. Known for blending classic corrido storytelling with contemporary energy, Coronel has built a devoted following across Mexico and the United States.

AVA Amphitheater, located at Casino Del Sol Resort in Tucson, is a premier open-air venue with seating for up to 5,000 guests and a state-of-the-art sound system delivering a high-energy concert experience under the desert sky.
