Midland Pallet Trucks Expands Electric Range with Advanced Weigh Scale Pallet Truck

UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / October 21, 2025 / Midland Pallet Trucks has expanded its line-up of high-performance warehouse equipment with the arrival of the WSPTP1A Premium Weigh Scale Pallet Truck with Printer, alongside new additions to its growing range of fully electric pallet trucks.

Alongside its vast selection of pallet trucks, stacker trucks and lift tables, Midland Pallet Trucks now stocks an extra-long electric pallet truck, ideal for handling larger or more unusual loads, as well as two shortened-fork versions designed for restricted spaces such as the backs of delivery wagons and compact storage areas.

With the industry gradually turning towards electric handling solutions to protect health and safety, Midland Pallet Trucks is meeting the growing demand by offering durable, energy-efficient options that make everyday warehouse operations smoother and safer.

The newly introduced WSPTP1A weigh scale pallet truck is a key part of that evolution. With a 2,500kg capacity, the WSPTP1A model features four integrated load cells to ensure accuracy within ±0.5‰, providing dependable readings in both kilograms and pounds.

The addition of a built-in thermal printer enables operators to instantly record weight data, helping to streamline documentation and improve traceability in fast-paced warehouse environments. With its durable steel construction, the unit is engineered for consistent, long-term performance across a range of industrial and retail applications.

Phil Chesworth, Managing Director at Midland Pallet Trucks, said, “Warehouses are under growing pressure to boost productivity without compromising safety, and electric handling equipment is fast becoming a key part of that balance.

“Our new electric pallet trucks and the WSPTP1A weigh scale model are all about helping operators work smarter - saving time, reducing strain, and increasing accuracy. We’re proud to be at the forefront of that change.”
