Led by renowned polar explorer and Mission Spiritus founder Alan Chambers MBE, this journey marks the third of seven major science-led missions, following the success of the Antarctica Expedition (November 2023 - January 2024) and Oman Expedition (January 2025).

About the Faroe Islands Expedition Over ten days, the expedition team; Alan Chambers MBE, Billy Perham, and Dr. Maureen Raymo of Columbia University will traverse the rugged terrain of the Faroe Islands, supported by local expert Thurid Samró. Using land, sea, and foot travel, the team will access the archipelago’s most remote areas to collect water, sediment, and air samples.
