The Standard Achieving Management Catalogue for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical Appliances and Electronic Products (2026 Edition) and its accompanying Exemption List were officially released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and seven other government departments.

  • Safety and health-related products

An implementation timeline has been provided to give businesses sufficient time to review their products, supply chains and compliance arrangements. SGS experts publish SafeGuardS to keep businesses informed about regulatory changes that could affect their operations.. SafeGuardS 080.26 provides further information on the expanded product categories, implementation timeline and effective dates together with suggested actions for companies subject to these requirements.
