SGS invites IoT professionals to explore CRA compliance strategies and integrated assessment services

BAAR, SWITZERLAND / AGILITYPR.NEWS / January 07, 2026 / SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is pleased to host a live webinar, ‘CRA Implementation: How to Fulfill Regulatory Obligations’, on January 22, 2026.

With the European Union’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) introducing mandatory cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements (PDEs), manufacturers must reach implementation‑ready status to ensure compliance and secure market access. This legislation establishes a comprehensive, lifecycle-wide framework to ensure connected devices meet robust cybersecurity standards.

In this expert‑led session, SGS’s Ross Wang and Brightsight’s Alex Rubert will provide timely regulatory updates and actionable compliance guidance. Attendees will gain insights into Regulation (EU) 2024/2847, categories of PDE, reporting obligations, conformity assessment modules (A, B, H), harmonized standards, vulnerability handling requirements and secure design lifecycle management. The webinar will also highlight strategies for managing and integrating third‑party components and suppliers into compliance planning.

The event is aimed at consumer and industrial IoT device manufacturers, service providers (development, operation, integration), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and commercial importers.

This event takes place on January 22, 2026, at 9:00 am (GMT +1:00) Europe/Brussels.

SGS and Brightsight deliver integrated assessment and certification services that streamline the certification process, helping businesses efficiently fulfill CRA obligations and maintain uninterrupted access to the EU market.

Industry professionals are encouraged to register now to secure their spot and gain essential insights for CRA readiness.
