The match, held over three days, featured 421 competitors across multiple divisions, with Vlieger completing 24 stages, totaling 350.43 seconds, and earning 1,933.816 match points—94% of the available points.

“The 2025 US IPSC National Championships had 24 technically demanding stages over 3 days, and the only limitation on my performance was between my ears,” said Vlieger. “Over 400 rounds, 45,000 steps, and more miniature steel targets than I thought possible, all without an issue or complaint from my gear. Vlieger, ranked 28th out of 2,245 shooters worldwide and 9th out of 91 in the USA, will represent the United States at the 2025 IPSC Handgun World Shoot, taking place September 11 – 28, 2025, in Matlosana, South Africa.
