Popular pickleball eatertainment venue Smash Park will officially open its Westerville venue to the public at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26.

Smash Park is located at 495 Polaris Parkway in Westerville.

The venue encompasses more than 50,000 total square feet of indoor and outdoor space, and includes six pickleball courts, a full-service restaurant and bar, ax-throwing, duckpin bowling, two private karaoke “Sing Suites” and a 21-and-over “Paddle Club.” The outdoor space includes a premium patio, rooftop bar, and yard games. More than 100 HDTVs throughout will make it the ultimate destination for sports watch parties.

Smash Park is also known for its elevated dining experience. While the menu is fun and casual, featuring favorites such as “Pickleballs,” Bang Bang Shrimp, and the Dynamite Fried Chicken Sandwich, the food is made from scratch and complemented by an entire menu of specialty craft drinks.

The Westerville Smash Park has a distinct appearance from other Smash Park locations. The exterior was redesigned specifically to integrate with and enhance the aesthetic of the Westerville community.

Smash Park will host weekly leagues for pickleball, cornhole, darts, duckpin bowling and axe-throwing. The recreation area will be equipped for night time entertainment such as glow pickleball and glow dodgeball. Smash Park also hosts weekly events such as trivia, themed tournaments, and its popular Brunch Bingo, and its private event space can accommodate up to 600 guests. A private meeting room is fully-equipped with A/V capabilities for company meetings and team building events.

Smash Park will create approximately 125 local jobs. Bill Garland is the general manager. 

Smash Park hours are Mon.–Thurs. 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Fri. 10 a.m. – 1 a.m., Sat. 9 a.m. – 1 a.m., and Sun. 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.
