Two New Standards Mandated for Food Contact Paper Products in Thailand
BAAR, SWITZERLAND / AGILITYPR.NEWS / January 21, 2026 / SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, has published SafeGuardS 003.26, introducing two new food standards in Thailand for food contact paper products.
Two Ministerial Regulations from Thailand’s Ministry of Industry were published in December 2025 for two categories of food contact paper products.
The first Ministerial Regulation mandates Thai standard TIS 2948-2562 (2019) and applies to food contact paper products.
The second Regulation mandates Thai standard TIS 3438-2565 (2022) and applies to food contact paper products for cooking with heat.
